APOSTLE Eunor Guti, who is the widow to the late ZIMBABWE Assemblies of God Africa Forward in Faith Ministries International (ZAOGA-FIFMI) Archbishop Ezekiel Guti has described her late husband as a man who left behind a legacy of love, kindness, faithfulness, diligence, unity and integrity.
Speaking during a memorial service held this morning in South Africa, which was broadcast online, Apostle Eunor said although she lived with the late Archbishop, she barely knew him.

“He was a man who was unpredictable, a true man of God who never did his will, but the will of God. He was a bondservant and prisoner of Christ, a man who had people at heart and showed the true love of Jesus Christ,” she said.
Apostle Eunor said Archbishop Guti was a man of integrity who had an impeccable track record in handling finances.
She recalled an incidence when her late husband received USD3,000 during a Deeper Life conference in Zimbabwe, which was meant to fund the opening of a FIF church in Capetown, and Archbishop Guti held on to the money for five years.

“He kept the money for five years. Always, the money would be there, even when they were needs at home. He never touched it. That’s how faithful to God he was,” she said.
Apostle Guti said her husband was a Christian for 85 years, and preached the gospel for 75 of those years without a break.
She recalled how the late Archbishop never regarded ZAOGA-FIF as his personal property, but treated it as the church of God in which he was a mere servant.
Archbishop Guti said the late preacher lived a sacrificial life marked with church-planting.
“Other than that, he was always fasting and praying, even when he was 100 years old, he was still praying and fasting,” she said.
“He was a father, a grandfather, and a great grandfather, a man who commanded his house, his family, and the woman God gave him.”
Apostle Guti said for over six decades, the late preacher’s teachings laid a strong foundation for the church.
“All we need to do now is to walk in the teachings he has taught us. He has shown us the way, and the truth,” she said.
“We need to follow and walk in the way he was walking.”
Apostle Guti said the Archbishop had laid a foundation for the church’s continuity after selecting three leaders.
She ended up by expressing gratitude to the church members for their prayers in a time of grieving.
“When I came here, I was crying, but I felt comforted,” she said.
The late Archbishop Guti’s body is expected in the country tomorrow (Saturday).
