Vana Vedu Organisation , a philanthropic organisation, recently held a heartwarming graduation ceremony in Chitungwiza, where 60 students from diverse disciplines, nurse aiding, baking, cosmetology, weaving and braiding celebrated for their academic achievements.
The event marked a significant milestone in the lives of these graduates, highlighting the impactful work of the trust in empowering and uplifting the community .
Notably, these students were able to pursue their education without the burden of tuition fees, thanks to the benevolence of the Organisation .

Delivering her message organisation visionary Chipo B Mahamba expressed that it is her calling to empower youths within the society and to guide them away from negative activities.
“I am immensely proud of the incredible achievements showcased at this ceremony, witnessing 60 students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines receive their well-deserved accolades was truly inspiring. This milestone reaffirms our commitment to nurturing talent, empowering individuals, and creating meaningful opportunities for our community.”
“It seems like a joke, as if these courses hold little value because they are offered for free. However, our aim is to empower the youth with these skills and guide them away from negative activities. We earnestly desire for them to carve meaningful paths in their lives.”

A poignant moment during the ceremony was the observance of candle lighting in honour of the nurse aids who graduated.
This symbolic gesture marked their transition into the professional world, where they will serve as beacons of light, providing care and support to those in need.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of various stakeholders, including representatives from the Church, Pastor Tendayi Rusere from God’s Love Church and a guest speaker from Tabernacle Christian Church imparted words of wisdom to the graduating students, emphasising the value of their accomplishments and the positive impact they can make in their respective fields and communities.
Ministry of Youths, Zimbabwe Youth Council, Department of Social Welfare, Women Affairs, Ministry of Information and Publicity, and Youth Aspire, where represented.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity and the belief this institute instilled in me,” said one of the former students Chenai during testimonial speech.
