During the workshops, participants engaged in discussions on how the various church-owned health and education institutions can collaborate more effectively and leverage partnerships to address existing gaps in service provision.
Reverend Wilfred Dimingu, the ZCC General Secretary, urged participants to redouble their efforts to ensure that the church reclaims its pivotal role as a catalyst for societal transformation through education.
The workshops also provided a platform to identify areas for enhancing existing frameworks for collaboration and coordination among church-run institutions.
With ZCC serving as an umbrella body for 31 protestant churches, the organisation has a rich history and enduring legacy of shaping the education and health landscape in Zimbabwe.
This influence is particularly evident through the establishment of schools and health facilities that provide services across the country, including in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
