“Toleration is not a marriage, we have to learn each other and develop good skills to speak to one another in a marriage,” Pastor Tom Deuschle, Celebration Ministries International Founder has said
In a message to commemorate their 44 years in a marriage, Pastor Tom expressed that good communication skills are very important to have peace in a marriage while expressing the need for plenty of marriage seminars to be organised in today’s church.
“We must find way to live peacefully with each other and if we cannot learn those skills, there will be a separation.
“You can be divorced in the heart still be I the same marriage, toleration is not a marriage rather we have to learn each other. We have to develop the skills to speak to one another.
“You have to do lots of marriage seminars so that couples get to learn more about this sacred union,” he said.
Meanwhile Pastor Bonnie Deuschle the wife to Pastor Tom has expressed the relevance of perseverance in times of persecution and trials saying that it creates room to get knowledge and understanding on how to solve marital challenges.
“It is said it will get better, it might get worst but if you know how to handle the worst you will be blessed.
“I want to encourage you perseverance out of persecution and that Jesus said that through perseverance you shall establish your soul. Do not give up but seek knowledge and understanding and the other thing that you should know is that, when you marry you marry for a family,” she said.
Pastor Tom and Bonnie Deuschle are the Founders and Senior Pastors of Celebration Ministries International, a thriving church in Harare, Zimbabwe, with a global impact.
The pentecostal movement is widely known for transforming lives, reforming nations, and serving the vulnerable groups which include orphans, HIV/AIDS patients and refugees.
