Apostle Angela Marangarire Chipangura, the visionary of Disciples Union Church International ( DUIC) delivered a message of hope and faith at “Hear Me Oh Lord,” annual conference wich was held at their church premises in Highfield Lusaka Machipisa Harare on the Africa Day.
Addressing the attendees, Apostle spoke about the men who lived with leprosy citing the book of Luke, emphasizing the power of faith and God’s ability to bring people out of trouble.
“Living with leprosy during those days was a serious trouble. They were chased out of the city to join some of their colleagues. I don’t know the group where Satan has placed you in your life, but because you have come to cry for mercy, you are going to come out of this trouble. What I know is that God hears us.”
She highlighted the challenges faced by individuals, stating,
“It’s only the devil who can limit people; some are limited in doing the Lord’s work because they don’t have resources, and some are now doubting God, but today is our day. After this conference, you will receive your testimony.”
Acknowledging her church team members, family, and supporters, Apostle Chipangura expressed gratitude for their unwavering support. She also shared her upcoming ministry plans, including a return to South Africa in June.
The conference featured powerful music performances by Minister Tatenda Chibhamu, known for the hit “Mweya Mutsvene,” as well as other talented ministers, Sharon, Matthew and Mucha.
Overseer Tinashe Gutuza, a church leader, emphasized the success of the event and the significance of the Africa Day celebration, expressing hope that many attendees would mark this special day as a moment when God liberated them from satanic bondage.
“We are praying and worshiping God today on the 25th of May, the Africa Day. We started this conference annually in 2021 to commemorate when we started this church as an interdenominational one and how God has enabled us.”
“It is a successful event, and it went well according to our plan. We believe many people who are here are going to mark this special day in their lives when God liberated them from satanic bondage.”
The “Hear Me Oh Lord” conference left attendees inspired and uplifted, reinforcing the message that with faith and prayer, nothing is impossible.
Disciples Union International Church was formed in 2021 and it started as an interdenominational church.
