Bishop Adam Rupere of Life Excellence Ministries emphasizes that maintenance involves ongoing improvement, not just preservation. He encourages people to renovate various aspects of their lives, including their minds, businesses, education, and surroundings, by replacing outdated elements with new and better ones. This mindset promotes growth, progress, and continuous enhancement.
“Maintenance is continuous improvement,” he says. “Renovate your life, your mind, your business, your education, and your world. Renovations mean removing obsolete properties and replacing them with new ones.”
He further explains that maintenance involves adding fresh ideas to what’s already there. Some couples become stagnant, stuck in a routine with no excitement or adventure, leading to boredom and a lack of growth in their relationship.
“I have met couples who are as rigid as a concrete pillar,” he notes. “No spice to their marriage or union. It’s the same old storyline: same restaurants, same old car, same old pair of shoes, and no adventure to explore and experience new realities in life. More often than not, boredom creeps in.”
He warns that boredom can lead to rebellion against the source of the monotony. To avoid this, he encourages investing in ongoing improvement and maintenance in all areas of life, fostering growth and excitement.
