Women have been challenged and motivated to emulate positive traits of courage, humility and submissiveness that were in a Jewish woman Esther who fasted and fervently prayed for the deliverance of the Jews.
This was said by Prophetess Munashe Mwakutuya at the Esther Conference (ladies meeting) which was held in Harare on 5 April 2025 under the theme “Favour”.

“Esther 4:14 says for if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall their enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
“My message to a lady is that you have come to this year’s Esther Conference because you have faith that there is no other name that can deliver you except the name of Jesus Christ. The fact that favour is unmerited does not mean we do not have to activate it.
“Esther fasted for three good days for the deliverance of the Jews understanding that God had made her to a queen for the purpose of saving a generation. Any position that God has placed you, he is trusting you to overcome and whatever that you have been going through is coming to an end because the Esther conference has been organized for such a time when you really need the hand of God upon your life,” she said.
Some of the ladies who shared their expressions about the conference said that it was exceptional, uplifting and the right tool for women empowerment and networking.
Shantel Chiyangwa said “Fire came down and favour was obtained,” she said.
Evangelist Louise Sithole added that “It was a beautiful moment in the presence of God as ladies,” she said.
The conference was also attended by powerful women gospel ministers including Shalom Charamba,Evangelist Louise Sithole,Minister Rutendo Chikwanha,Mrs Shanashe Kings,Miss Felliey and Paradise Zishamba.
