Zimbabwean United Kingdom based gospel musician Pastor Olinda Marowa has set to release her sixth album titled “Victorious” on the 4th of May 2024 at Gleadless Methodist Church in Sheffield.
Pastor Olinda who started singing as a backing vocalist for Kudzi Nyakudya in 2003 and went solo in 2008 with her first album “Nyasha” said this coming up project is a ministration to herself and an encouragement to those who are at the verge of giving up since it is touching different aspects of lives.
“So on this album I am basically talking about different aspects but the album title is saying Victorious and that has really ministered to me personally. I usually would want the music I sing to first minister to myself before it reaches out to people.”
“I have understood that waiting upon the Lord might seem painful and difficult but it is the best thing to ever do for when you are aligned to the will of God you will eventually, inevitably and certainly overcome. Therefore, being Victorious, I looked at how one can have a lot of obstacles, setbacks and is on the verge of giving up but the encouragement is to wait upon the Lord and obtain victory,” she said.
The Album has 8 tracks which includes a collaboration with Kudzi Nyakudya.
