The National Day of Prayer was held yesterday at the State House in Harare, with leaders from various denominations joining President Emmerson Mnangagwa and senior government officials to pray for the nation.
President Mnangagwa said Zimbabwe, as a God-fearing nation, acknowledges with gratitude the various milestones that have been attained in economic development.

The Head of State said the country remains anchored on prayer as he outlined how Zimbabwe continues to grow its economy.
He called on Zimbabweans to continue defining their destiny in various sectors of the economy.
The President said the country’s prayer must always be centered on the need to preserve the prevailing peace.
