Good morning! Today, we want to speak to you about the joy of salvation. The joy that comes when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
In Luke 1:46-47 we find Mary’s song of praise and thanksgiving for her salvation. She rejoiced with all her being, proclaiming great joy to all generations.
Today, we want to encourage you to Rejoice! Let us be mindful of our own humble state and our need for a Savior.
Let us shout with joy and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ!
Let us look at three captivating key ideas for why we should rejoice in our salvation:
Jesus has done it for us
We Rejoice because of What Jesus Has Done for Us The Bible tells us that Jesus came to this earth to save us from our sins (John 3:16).
He died on the cross and rose again that we may have life abundant (Romans 5:8-10).
The Bible says that “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). We can rejoice because Jesus has saved us from the penalty of sin.
Jesus keeps on doing it for us
We Rejoice Because of What Jesus is Doing for Us Jesus is not only our Savior, He is also our Lord and King.
He is at work in our lives, transforming us into the image of His Son (2 Corinthians 3:18).
We can rejoice because Jesus is working in us, making us more like Him every day.
Jesus will keep on doing it for us
We Rejoice Because of What Jesus Will Do for Us We can also rejoice because of what Jesus will do for us in the future.
He will come again to gather His people and take them to be with Him forever (John 14:3).
We can rejoice because we know that one day we will be with Jesus in eternity. My friends, let us be like Mary and rejoice with all our being!
Let us proclaim the good news of salvation and thank God for His mercy and grace.
Let us be filled with joy and thankfulness for all that Jesus has done, is doing, and will do for us.
