Eliana Taguta, well known as Little Eliana radiates a light beyond her years, her voice has become a gift tool of praise and worship.
As the daughter of an apostle, her performances transcend the stage, spreading the message of faith and hope to all who hear her sing.
During an interview with ZimGospel Masters presenter, Apostle Taguta said, ‘Eliana is as good as born a singer. She has a natural gift and it’s beautiful to see her using it to spread the gospel.’
Apostle Taguta said even as an infant, Eliana Taguta demonstrated her remarkable musical talent by harmonizing with the church choir and singing complex hymns with perfect pitch, a feat beyond the abilities of some adult members.
“Eliana’s gift was evident even before she could speak. At just a few months old, she would sing hymns, harmonizing with the choir in perfect pitch.
“It was incredible to witness, especially considering that some of the seasoned members of our congregation struggled with the same melodies.
” I knew then that Eliana was destined for greatness as a singer.’ As the daughter of a minister and born in the year the church was founded, Eliana’s spiritual connection to music runs deep”,he said
Apostle Taguta said that this divine gift, paired with her spiritual upbringing and the fact that she was born in the same year as the founding of her father’s church, suggested a predestined connection between Eliana and music that surpassed her young age.
Apostle Taguta revealed that his daughter’s natural musical ability became evident when she was just a year old, showcasing her talent by singing Takesure Zama’s hit single “Agare Pachigaro.”
“It was breath-taking to see my little Eliana, at just a year old, singing Takesure Zama’s ‘Agare Pachigaro’ with such grace and passion. Now, she has blossomed into a young lady with the ability to move people to tears with her powerful voice.
“Her recent performances with The Unveiled choir group are a testament to her unwavering faith and dedication to gospel music,” he said.
Eliana’s exceptional voice and faith earned her a spot with the renowned gospel choir group, The Unveiled, where she captivated audiences with her powerful renditions.
During the show session Little Eliana performed two songs of the Unveiled, “Ndikhokhele” and “Mweya mutsvene”. “I worked hard to learn the lyrics. Gracia of the Unveiled Choir was a major inspiration for me, and I am grateful for her guidance during this exciting experience,” said Eliana Taguta.
