Apostle Tawanda Mahaso, founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, has challenged the preachers to preach undiluted gospel of Jesus Christ if they are to stand the test of time.
“Yes it is good to have many shepherds of the flock of God for the Bible says the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few, however it is sad that some of our uprising ministers are not pursuing the will of God but their personal desires. There are several reasons that are therefore hindering the growth of newly established ministries among them being financial instability, resistance and unclearly stated vision.
“What is now key for these ministries to grow is that they should clearly write their visions and let them known by the targeted group. If people assume that the Ministry is targeting to make money, absolutely people will not believe and even follow such a Ministry. I want to encourage all young ministries to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ alone and also not to overemphasize their capabilities in the field for example claiming to perform extraordinary miracles,” said Mahaso.
Speaking about sustaining the ministry, Apostle Mahaso urged gospel ministers to teach their members to work and to give generously towards a clear cause.
“Yes financial hurdles are there in the ministry so in order to avoid a situation of talking about money on the pulpit, members of the church should be taught to work and after they have something even when a need arise in the church people will not be compelled to give but will see that they should cover the gap,” he added.
