Clerics from various churches and organizations, including leaders from the Bishops Healing Nations Council, led by Bishop Philein T. Muzira, have sent a message of grief to the Manhango family following the death of Archbishop Loveless M. Manhango, the founder of Bethesda Apostolic Church acknowledged that the Christian sector has lost a true ambassador.
Speaking to Zimgospel Masters, Bishop Muzira conveyed his distress, saying that they have lost an important pillar in the Christian fraternity.
“We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Archbishop Manhango. What a great loss to the Body of Christ here on earth. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. We grieve as much as you do.”
“As Bishops Healing Nations, we want to extend our sincerest condolences to the entire church family and the Manhango family. Archbishop Manhango was a spiritual giant, a pillar of faith, and a champion of the gospel. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the many souls he led to Christ,” said bishop Muzira.
Bishop Muzira said that as the organization responsible for handling these situations, they are praying for God’s comfort for the deceased family, and the bishop’s memories and works shall be remembered in all facets of the world.
“We pray that God’s comfort and peace surround you all as you mourn the loss of this remarkable leader. May His grace sustain you and may the Archbishop’s memory be a blessing to us all. We stand with you in prayer and support during this time of grief. May Archbishop Manhango’s legacy continue to inspire us to carry on his work and may his memory be a blessing to us all.”
The International Preachers Council of Churches (IPCC), led by Reverend Dr. David Phiri, also joined the rest of Zimbabwe in mourning the late Bishop Manhango, who passed away at the age of 104.
Bethesda Apostolic Church was founded in 1952 and has since grown to have over 100,000 congregants across Africa, America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The church is also a member of the IPCC.
