She emphasized that starting from what one has is vital.
“Strength based approach is about knowing your capabilities and utilizing the resources that you have to empower yourself’’
For one to achieve her goals, she needs to selectively choose an association that supports her ideas and creativity without judging her, most importantly an association that she shares a same background with.
‘’Selectively choose your association, don’t play around with people who are not from your class because there is no need to compare yourself with someone whilst you know your background’’

Meanwhile she said girls should consider equity before equality because through equity there is recognition of potentials that one has so that they can reach their goals whilst equality is about giving resources and opportunities to people regardless of gender and race hence equity is empowering.
‘’Equity is important because it supports strength based approach and that girls should empower themselves rather than wanting same opportunities with men without discovering their potentials’’
Girls should start from as little as they have and grow from that to achieve their goals.
