Psalm 31:19 exclaims, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!”
In this verse, we are reminded of the abundant goodness of God, reserved for those who reverence and trust Him.
His goodness is not fleeting or temporary but is stored up, ready to be poured out upon those who walk in faith and obedience.

The psalmist marvels at the magnitude of God’s goodness, which surpasses human understanding and exceeds all expectations.
It is a goodness that is lavish and boundless, extending beyond the confines of time and space. It is a goodness that is freely given, not because of anything we have done to deserve it, but simply because of God’s gracious and merciful nature.
Moreover, God’s goodness is not hidden or kept secret but is openly displayed before the eyes of all. It is a testimony to His faithfulness and a witness to His power. Those who trust in God’s goodness are not ashamed to declare His praises before others, for they have experienced firsthand the miraculous works of His hand.
As we reflect on this verse, let us be awestruck by the greatness of God’s goodness. Let us approach Him with hearts full of reverence and trust, knowing that He delights in showering His blessings upon His children.
And let us boldly proclaim His goodness to the world, sharing the testimony of His faithfulness and inviting others to experience the abundant blessings that come from walking in obedience and trust.
