The group of Chinese Loving Mum today donated 20 chairs, toys and clothes to more than 30 beneficiaries at Teen Rescue Mission (TRM) in Chitungwiza.
The gesture came a few days before the official opening of TRM’s technical centre and was meant to assist TRM’s efforts of snatching young people from drugs and empowering young people, single mothers and the underprivileged group with self sustaining skills.

Speaking upon receiving the donation,TRM Director Abraham Matuka said “I am grateful to our friends for remembering us today with some chairs which will add to the few that we have. It is a major boost to our institution ahead of our classes scheduled to start next week.
“It means that we will be able to conduct our classes smoothly. This centre will be a relief for many young people in Chitungwiza as we will be empowering then with some technical skills in our quest of ending drug abuse, crime and teen pregnancy in the area,” he said.
