We are all called to action

Good morning, brothers and sisters in Christ. Today, we want to talk to you about a call to action. A call to action that God has set before us all, and that is to spread the gospel.

In Isaiah 6:8, it says “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

God is calling us all to spread the gospel. We all have a responsibility and duty to do this. As believers in Jesus Christ, it is our mission to reach out to others and share the good news of salvation.

If we are not actively sharing the gospel, then we are missing out on a great opportunity.

God has given us a great commission.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

God is telling us to go out and share the gospel with everyone, no matter what their background or beliefs may be.

We must spread the good news of salvation so that others can come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. God also calls us to be bold.

In Acts 4:13, it says “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marvelled. And they realised that they had been with Jesus.”

Peter and John were uneducated and untrained, yet they had no fear in preaching the gospel. They were bold in the face of opposition and persecution.

We too must be bold in our proclamation of the good news. Finally, God calls us to be faithful.

In 2 Thessalonians 3:13 it says “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.” We must stay faithful in our mission to spread the gospel.

Everyday, we must strive to reach out to others with the love of Christ and spread His message of hope and salvation.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us answer God’s call to action. Let us go out into the world and share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet.

Let us be bold in our proclamation of the gospel and stay faithful to our mission.

Let us say with Isaiah – “Here am I! Send me.”
