Young Gospel Ministers

group of young ministers who embarked on this exercise believe in the notion, “Catch Them Young” a philosophy which encourages the socialisation of positive values and morals in young people so that they grow up observing and valuing the right thing, a situation which will shape them to be a responsible generation.

In an interview with ZimGospel Masters magazine, one of the gospel ministers Simbarashe Elroi Chitiyo said that his strong desire has always been to impact his peers in a positive manner hence he use social media and music to remind youths that living a Christian life can keep someone from the dirty of the world.

“I believe that as young people we are the leaders of tomorrow so if we lose young people it means our future is in danger. My heart strongly desires to see youths living an admirable life that is free from sickness and sin so in my journey to this I am producing music which puts them back into the right path of righteousness and also teaching them the word of God.”

“I want to encourage all young people not to be involved in drugs but to serve God and work for their personal development daily,” said Chitiyo

Upcoming Musician

Talent Chidota who is an upcoming musician called upon young people to acquire self-sustaining skills and eager for personal development in the wake of a fast changing world.

“It is not wise to just complain that there are no jobs, as a young person you can be your own boss.

Start doing something, selling and also if there is any chance you can learn some technical skills so that you equip yourself and be able to produce something,” said Chidota.

Minister Davison Dzimba also said “The world has changed; as young people we should not be carried away by social media because sometimes it is misleading.

Also let us fight peer pressure and be original, know who you are and know your goals and purpose in life,” he said.
