A life-transforming Pentecostal movement, Ecclesia International Ministries, was launched on May 9, 2026, in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Led by Apostle Dr. Josephine Mapfumo, the ministry has become a beacon of hope, restoration, healing, prophetic and deliverance, attracting people from across the globe for spiritual fellowship and worship.
The launch was co-hosted by Prophetess Sikhanyisiwe Sammie, with entertainment provided by Minister Takesure Zamar Ncube.
In her keynote address, Apostle Mapfumo declared, “God is raising people who will serve him and carry his glory to every corner of the earth,” she said. Citing Habakkuk 2 vs 3, she spoke of a season of transformation, restoration, and awakening, where lives will be healed, destinies discovered, and purposes awakened.
Guest of honor, Bishop Dr. Amon Madawo, President of Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe, delivered a powerful message, urging the church to sow and experience the fruit of revival.
“We are in the middle of revival,” he said, calling the church to strengthen itself for a great harvest.
Bishop Madawo emphasized the need for repentance from “Babylonian systems” of running ministry, church politics, religious pride, and pride of status. “Serve God with humility,” he urged, stressing the importance of acknowledging weakness and relying on God.
“Revival is not a conference or Pentecostal noise, but the manifestation of God’s glory, restoration, and bringing back home,” Bishop Madawo said. He called for soul-winning evangelism, unity (Psalms 133), and the operation of spiritual gifts through the Rhema word.
“Power follows character,” he emphasized, noting that true revival brings transformation and good character. “The business of the church is winning souls,” he added, citing Romans 13.
Ecclesia International Ministries aims to empower women, youth, and disadvantaged communities, promoting sustainability and community impact. The ministry will contribute to national peace-building efforts, fostering a brighter future for all.
