Over 150 evangelists have been equipped and anointed for gospel outreach and soul winning at a three-day Soul Winning Evangelism Bootcamp which was recently held at Worship Christ Ministries Lydiate Norton under the theme “Zebulun and Naphtali generation: Igniting many for soul winning” according to Judges 5:17-18.

The boot camp was organised by Evangelist Paul Saungweme who is the Founder and Visionary of Jesus for Africa Evangelistic Ministries.
In his lecture, Evangelist Saungweme encouraged gospel ministers to be prayerful, strong and hold on to the instruction from God saying that true anointing really faces attacks and criticism but staying in the lanes of God’s calling is the only way to remain alive and strong to the mission.
“When God has spoken, the devil will come and you will for sure that God has spoken when immediately temptations and trials come. When God spoke to Adam telling him not to eat the fruit from the tree of life, immediately the devil visited and likewise Jesus after fasting for forty days and night, the devil immediately visited.
“So as gospel ministers you need to be strong and be prayerful for you to win. I want to encourage you to quit paying attention to what you see, hear, feel or the circumstances of the environment but to keep paying attention to what God has said. Harsh winds may arise but they are there to strengthen you and you have to know that you have a heavier assignment so soldier on, “said Saungweme
Some of the preachers who attended the boot camp testified the efficacy of the session saying that they have been extraordinarily transformed and equipped to impact the generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ in an outstanding manner.
Apostle Reggie Gavhare said “The boot camp has been one of its own kind. Evangelist Saungweme taught us about anointing and we have been taught on how we can change the present generation with the word of God. I can say the boot camp has closed an information gap which has been existing in the field and now we can get the art right from an experienced leader who has been in evangelism for many years,” he said
One of the young Evangelist Spencer revealed that “I learnt about evangelism. As a growing preacher I learnt that we need to be bold and strong in order for us to be able to face situations and to win against the devil since we will face a lot of fights with demons during our outreaches.
We were also taught that for us to be powerful evangelists we should be prayerful and read more of the word of God,” he said

Another said “We received a teaching on how to be effective evangelists and soul winners. We had good coaching time from Evangelist Saungweme. He taught us to be serious with the anointing that is upon us and we also learnt that we should have a mindset shift to a positive one for us to do exploits when we go out there,” he said
Jesus for Africa Evangelistic Ministries is an Interdenominational Ministry which was established in 2003 whose mandate is to carry the gospel to all the ends of the earth.
