“Faith requires action to be effective,” says Prophet Samuel Adebayo Ojo

Nigerian Prophet Samuel Adebayo Ojo, also known as Baba Authority, shared a vital message with young people during a recent online sermon. He stressed that faith alone is insufficient, urging them to combine faith with deliberate action towards their goals. This, he said, allows divine interventions to amplify their efforts and accelerate success.

“Faith without works is dead. People must understand that miracles can only support effort, not replace it,” he said.

To achieve prosperity, he emphasized, individuals must tap into their unique talents and skills through dedication and effort. Rather than passively waiting for job opportunities, people should proactively seek ways to add value and avoid idly spending time on social media. Consuming content without creating value won’t lead to financial gain. Instead, utilize your skills and talents to produce something valuable and work towards achieving prosperity.

“God has blessed everyone with unique abilities. The key to prosperity is finding those gifts and working hard. Don’t just wait for a job; look for something to do. Stop wasting time on social media.”

“No one will pay you for just watching content. While you watch, others are getting richer. Use your brain and hands to work”

Meanwhile, he noted that some individuals feel unhappy, believing God hasn’t assisted them. However, he asked rhetorically, “How can God help if you’re not putting in the effort yourself?”
