Good morning brothers and sisters. Today I want to focus on the importance of having a morning stride.
The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 5:3 “In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
This verse speaks to the importance of setting one’s focus on God early in the day and making our requests known to God.

In this message, I want to talk about how having a morning stride can help us focus on God and accomplish His will each day.
First, having a morning stride helps us to focus on God’s will in our lives. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus said “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
This verse speaks to the importance of placing God’s will first in our lives.
When we have a morning stride, we are more likely to start our days focused on doing God’s will and prioritizing His kingdom.
Second, having a morning stride helps us to stay on track throughout the day. Proverbs 16:9 says “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”
We may not know what the day holds, but when we start with a morning stride, we can trust that the Lord will lead us throughout the day and provide us with what we need.
Third, having a morning stride helps us to be more productive in our lives. In Ecclesiastes 9:10, it says “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”
When we have a morning stride, we can be more productive in our lives by focusing on doing whatever task is before us with all our might.
In conclusion, having a morning stride helps us to focus on God’s will in our lives, stay on track throughout the day, and be more productive in our lives.
I encourage each one of you to begin each day with a morning stride, focusing on God and His will for your life. We can trust that He will lead us throughout the day and provide us with what we need. Let’s pray.
