According to the book of Genesis, when God created man he gave him dominion and authority over the world and everything in it, the question that many people have remains that if the dominion was only about rulership and control of men over all the living creatures?

The Pentecostal Assemblies Of Zimbabwe (PAOZ) Hope Community Bishop Munetsi Zowa expressed that the real dominion that Christians should exercise comprises good deeds, positive influence and a Christ-like character which bring and cause the world to Glorify the name of God the most high as in the book of Daniel 6:26.
In his message this Tuesday during the five-day Dominion Summit which has been taking place at Upper-Room Ministries in Harare, Bishop Munetsi Zowa said that Christians are the diplomats of the kingdom of God, sent to represent God on earth which means that every Christian has a responsibility to do admirable works that cause non-believers to glorify God.
“Dominion means that you have the power to dominate. As Christians you must have a market value, go and make a positive impact in your workplace, let the world see Christ through you. You need to be connected to the mind of God and let Christ’s character to manifest through you so that all the glory will be given to God.
“The true example is of Daniel in the book of Daniel 6:26 which says I make a decree, that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end,” he said.
Bishop Zowa further challenged Christians to domesticate the principle of dominion by making sure that none among their congregation suffers whilst they are watching.
“It is a shame nowadays that some of our church members lack and suffer whilst they come to fellowship with us. It is high time that as Christians we open our eyes, we also have a generous heart so that we consider widows and orphans who are among us. We cannot say that we have dominion while someone next to us is in a heart-rending condition. Dominion is not dominion unless it brings honour to the name of God,” he added.
