Paul is telling us that we can transform our lives by renewing our minds.
It is essential that we don’t conform to the pattern of this world, but instead, focus on what God wants for us and our lives.

The first step is to fill our minds with activities that are pleasing to God. We can do this by meditating on scripture, praying, and learning about God’s will for us.
As we meditate on the Word of God, we will be filled with the Spirit and the desires of God will become our desires as well.
We can also fill our minds with positive music and stories that help us to reflect on God’s goodness and mercy.
The second step is to think about how we can serve God better. We can do this by looking for ways to serve others.
We can look for ways to use our time, talents, and resources to bring glory to God. We can also look for opportunities to share the Gospel with those who are lost in need of a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
When we are mindful of what we are thinking and doing, it will help us to guard our minds from negative influences and draw closer to God.
