Gospel sensation Janet Manyowa shared a motivational message, encouraging fans to view consistency as a gradual improvement journey, persisting through challenges and staying poised to capitalize on moments of high motivation.
“Consistency is not a full battery every day. There are days we feel less motivated than others, but guess what, we press on, maintain momentum, so that we are in gear for those highly motivated days,” she said.
She continued, emphasizing that life is unpredictable, and plans often go off track. But it’s crucial to stay focused on our goals. She shared her personal strategy of swiftly rebounding from setbacks to maintain momentum, highlighting its significance in achieving success and avoiding stagnation.
“Life rarely happens in a straight line. We make plans but things crop up and derail us. However, we should not lose sight of the mark. I have learnt to try and regain momentum before the time gap increases too much. Momentum is hard to build but easy to lose, yet we achieve more when we maintain it”
“Some days are not as productive, in those less productive days, we extent grace, press on and maintain momentum. We don’t ditch the project,” she added.
Meanwhile, she drew inspiration from Moses and the Israelites, noting that their journey wasn’t always exciting, but they persisted, taking small steps each day. She encouraged her audience to adopt a similar mindset, embracing the mundane moments and staying committed to their goals, even when progress seems slow, as consistency and momentum ultimately lead to progress.
