Business minded women must not be comfortable with one business line to hedge against failure, eggs cannot be put in one basket, having more than one project line helps having more sources of revenue, Pastor Evelyn Gaga has said during a Business High Tea in Harare.

“Most women are much comfortable with just one project whereas the bible in Ecclesiastes 11 vs 2 says, “Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for you know not what evil shall be on the earth,” This scripture simply encourages us to have many streams of income. In support of this scripture l always says “Usagarire maoko haisi chair” your hands must work,” said Gaga.
Mrs. Chie Masiziba spoke about “watch over the affairs of your household” a sermon derived from proverbs 31 in which she urged women to improve their management skills either in the home or in business in such a way that they are on the lookout for their children so that they do not end up in drugs and monitoring their businesses to minimise losses.
“Your children should grow under your watchful eye so that they do not end up in drugs and other social ills. You must be at the centre of your business monitoring and assessing the journey so as to minimise loss and risk,” said Mrs Masiziba.
She also said having one thing is the same as having nothing, because if anything happens to that one thing, you have nothing to fall back on.
You must have more than 2 things to do because in this economy, one income is no longer enough.
Meanwhile Pastor Evelyn Gaga said the benefits of these events are crucial networking opportunities to interact with like-minded professionals, industry experts, and thought leaders.
Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your journey, a conference can propel you forward as it offers a wealth of learning opportunities within your field.
