Father Fidelis Mukonori, a distinguished clergyman from the Roman Catholic Church, took the lead in a compelling business breakfast talk titled “Beyond Politics,” held early this month at Rainbow Towers. delving into topics of reconciliation, leadership, diplomacy, ethical business, and negotiating out of tricky situations.

Father Mukonori emphasised the importance of maintaining integrity during conflicts and highlighted the need to have faith and put God at the forefront of everything.
He passionately conveyed the message that peace and reconciliation are achievable goals, urging attendees to work tirelessly towards their realisation.
Meanwhile Executive Director of 4-H Zimbabwe, Mr. John Muchenje, expressed the organisation’s pleasure in sponsoring such a transformative event.
He articulated 4-H Zimbabwe’s commitment to peace-building initiatives, citing various programs involving young people from diverse political backgrounds aimed at promoting peace.
“4-H Zimbabwe is pleased to be sponsoring such an incredible event that seeks to dig into the impacts and importance of reconciliation.”
“The organisation has done various programs that have involved young people from various political parties in a bid to promote peace. We have done peace dialogues and sport 4 peace programs. Our aim is to ensure that youth in Zimbabwe understand that we need to work together despite our different beliefs and ideologies,” he said.
Closing the ceremony, Ms. Belinda Muswaka, the Board Chairperson for AB Communications, extended gratitude to all participants and supporters of the program. She specifically commended 4-H Zimbabwe for their sponsorship and their tireless efforts in promoting peace within Zimbabwe.
The “Beyond Politics” business breakfast talk provided invaluable insights into Zimbabwe’s past and future, ethical business practices, and the essential nature of reconciliation, leaving attendees inspired and equipped with a renewed sense of purpose in their professional and personal endeavours.
