Preparations for the event, which will be officially opened by His Excellency William Ruto, the President of Kenya, are well underway.
ZITF Chairperson, Busisa Moyo, expressed satisfaction with the level of interest and participation, highlighting the significant growth compared to previous years.
“ZITF preparations are well on course. We are oversubscribed; we have more visitors. In total, we have 575 exhibitors, including 136 first-time exhibitors.
This year’s showcase will feature 27 countries, up from 21 last year,” Moyo stated.
The notable increase in exhibitor numbers reflects the growing importance of the ZITF as a premier platform for showcasing products, fostering business partnerships, and promoting economic growth.
With a diverse array of industries represented, ranging from manufacturing to agriculture, technology, and tourism, the trade fair offers a comprehensive overview of Zimbabwe’s economic landscape.
In line with global efforts to promote environmental sustainability, ZITF organisers have embarked on a greening endeavour to minimise the event’s ecological footprint.
This commitment to a green economy underscores the trade fair’s commitment to responsible business practices and environmental stewardship.
