Masara, who recently celebrated his 17th birthday, showcased his skills predominantly with Burnley’s U21s squad throughout the season.

Despite facing initial challenges due to injuries, Masara quickly adapted to the rigorous demands of full-time training, demonstrating resilience and determination.

The presentation of the award took place during halftime of Burnley’s Premier League match against Newcastle United, with Club Chairman Alan Pace bestowing the honour upon Masara in the presence of his family.

Reflecting on his achievement, Masara expressed gratitude for the support he received and reiterated his commitment to continuous improvement.

In an interview with Burnley media, Masara conveyed his appreciation to the coaching staff for their guidance, acknowledging their role in his development. With a two-year scholarship deal secured ahead of the 2023/24 season, Masara is poised to further hone his skills and make strides in his football career.

Masara’s journey with Burnley commenced at the tender age of nine, highlighting his longstanding commitment to the club. His dedication and perseverance serve as an inspiration to aspiring young athletes, reminding them of the importance of hard work and determination in pursuing their dreams.
