Despite his retirement, Gwaze demonstrated his mastery of the game by clinching victory and topping the charts in impressive fashion.

With an illustrious career behind him, Gwaze showcased his expertise by winning all seven of his games during the five-day tournament.

Gwaze’s triumphant return culminated in him securing the Open Championship title with a flawless score of seven points.
His stellar performance placed him ahead of his closest rival, Zambian challenger Timothy Kabwe, who finished with 5.5 points. Namibia’s top seed, Heskiel Ndawangwapo, claimed the third spot with 5 points.
