Good morning, brothers and sisters in Christ we must learn to Be patient and trust in God.
Today we turn to the book of Lamentations 3 in the Bible, where we read in verse 22, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Today’s morning devotion is about the importance of being patient and trusting in God.
We can find a few key ideas in this passage, and throughout the Bible, that can help us better understand why patience and trust in God are so important.
First of all, we must understand that God is never ending.
His love for us will never cease, no matter our circumstances. His mercies will never come to an end, and they are new every morning.
We can take comfort in the fact that God is always with us and that He will always be there to help us through whatever trials we may face.
Secondly, we must remember that the Lord is faithful.
Even when we do not see results or understand what God is doing, we can trust that He is working in our lives for our good. We can also trust that His plans are far better than our own.
Just as Paul says in Romans 8:28, “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Finally, we must remember that patience is a virtue.
As the apostle James says in James 5:7-8, “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming.
See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.
You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.” Patience is essential in trusting God and allowing Him to work in our lives.
Today I encourage you to be patient and trust in God. He will never fail you or forsake you, and He will always be with you every step of the way. Be patient and trust in Him today.
Amen.
