In an interview with Zimgospelmasters, the group leader Minister Takudzwa Chari believed and said that their group would be competitive in the industry as it has been formed by young and vibrant people who better understand a shift that has occurred in the industry in terms of adapting to the audience’s taste.
Chari said that the group’s foundation has been laid through prayer and learning the word of God, some of the attributes which have been counted as a strength towards rapid growth of the choir since it has already started registering invitations and well attended shows in Zimbabwe.
“We are a group of prayerful young people full of energy and zeal for the work of God. The best that happened to us is that we are growing so fast since we created this group in September and in a short space of time we started to be invited in churches. So far we managed to perform in Rusape,” said Chari
“We started as a Praise and Worship group in our Church as the youths so in September 2023 we held our Zonal Youth conference and we were mightily used by God and we then realised that we can even take ourselves at a higher level of ministering the word of God then we agreed to work together as a team.
Minister Chari added that their mission and mandate was to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to reach many young people so that they do not remain victims of social ills.
He added that their group would be using techniques that can match young people so that they can be drawn of their attention hence winning souls for Christ.
“Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. So what is going to maintain our group and continue to be relevant is prayer. Our Motto will be “Fear not and sin not.” We are a group that was created from experience and we believe God for our growth,” he added
The group as part of growing strategies will have auditions in 2024 to break denominational barriers and to include other young people with talents.
