Founding President, Bishop Philein T. Muzira called upon spiritual leaders from diverse calling, overseers, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists and ministers to unite as he launched the Bishops Healing Nation Council in Harare.
“Bishops Healing Nations is a united front of spiritual leaders of diverse callings. We are united to heal, restore, establish and increase individuals, communities and nations, until we all come to the fullness of the stature of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“The work of the ministry is highly draining; spiritual energy levels dissipate. Such draining of spiritual vigor requires the Bishops Healing Nations to create a space and atmosphere of healing and revival for the Shepherd of the flock,” said Bishop Muzira.
The president stressed that the establishment of Bishops Healing Nations is not a response to a lack of organizations but rather a commitment to collaboration.
“Bishops Healing Nations did not come to this world when ministers were in an organizational vacuum. Many religious organizations were operational. However, let me categorically state that we have not come in a competitive spirit but a complimentary one. We pray for associated partnerships as we progress with the healing mandate.”
He urged existing organizations to continue their work while fostering cooperation among all Christian groups.
“Let the other organizations who license ministers do so, let organizations which affiliate churches do so, let there be Godly cooperation amongst sister Christian organizations.”
The registration process for membership has been designed to be accessible to all ministers, with various benefits, advantages, and privileges for members.
“Therefore, it is equally important to make sure you register for membership with Bishops Healing Nations,” he said.
He announced plans for a Bishops Financial Healing workshop, aimed at providing practical methods for financial recovery in ministry and personal life.
“We have made appointments with great business people of the community and very soon will be hosting a Bishops Financial Healing workshop.”
Apostle Gera Meza, the deputy president of Bishops Healing Nations, called for unity within the church.
“The church and believers of today are no longer united; they no longer have sympathy for each other. It is my cry to bring an old church where people were united,” he lamented. “People do not assist each other, but we are serving one God. As Bishops Healing Nations, we want everyone to benefit from our programs and initiatives.”
Bishop T. Mhande, a leader from another church, expressed gratitude for the launch.
“I would like to express my gratitude and thanksgiving to the Almighty for the successful launch of Bishops Healing Nations. Even though I was not present physically, I was there spiritually. The whistle has been blown; let us start the ball rolling, passing it on to all servants of God till all nations receive divine healing. I greet you all in the Wonderful name of our Lord and Savior.”
