Billiat touched down in the country on Tuesday evening, marking the beginning of his venture with the Miracle Boys at the age of 33. His arrival signals a potential resurgence in his career as he seeks to reignite his passion for the game.
Despite interest from several other clubs including Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum, Manica Diamonds, and CAPS United, Yadah emerged victorious in securing Billiat’s signature with an enticing offer.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs star has been without a club for the past eight months following his departure from the Soweto giants. Now, he eagerly anticipates the opportunity to make his mark once again on the field of play.
Chairperson of Yadah FC, Everson Chatambudza, confirmed the successful deal in a telephone interview, emphasizing that Billiat will be formally presented to the public during Thursday’s event in Harare.
