Heavenly Elect Saints Ambassadors (HESA) Founder Apostle Rodney Gabriel Rupiya has challenged Christians to embrace wisdom emphasizing that it has always been the doorway to success in every sphere of life.
In his message during the main Sunday Service held on Sunday at Crowborough North Phase 2 Harare, Apostle Rupiya said King Solomon’s kingdom became successful since he mastered the gist of wisdom in his reign.
He advised followers of Christ to have a mentality as that of king Solomon of seeking God’s wisdom revealing that the corporate world, ministries and marriages are institutions that need wisdom since they are also characterised with a lot of happenings that need to be addressed using wisdom and real knowledge.
“Wisdom is a representation of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 8:23 says wisdom was inaugurated and ordained from the beginning even before the earth existed then verse 30 says then I (wisdom) was beside him as a master and director of the work; and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always.
“King Solomon’s reign was a success because of wisdom, he got fame and became powerful in his kingdom because of wisdom. The Queen of Sheba heard of King Solomon’s fame and approached him with problems and riddles which King Solomon could solve them all because of wisdom.
“In this era that we are living in, we face many challenges and we are putting many efforts to change our lives but we are sometimes failing because we do not have the wisdom on how to solve these challenges and how to implement some of the ideas that we might be having. I am encouraging all of us that before we even pray for anything else, let us start by praying for God to bless us with wisdom which will be the key to open every closed door in our lives,” said Rupiya.
Meanwhile, Apostle Rupiya called upon married couples to be organised, not only in spiritual life but also in their homes.
“Above all I want to encourage men and women to be organised not just spiritually but also in your physical homes, marriages. You should be disciplined and show good conduct. A husband should ensure order in the house a conduct which will make him a role model that may make his name go famous to generations to come.
“I realised that in marriages people face many challenges but because of lack of wisdom they handle those problems in a wrong way, a situation which is causing small problems to explode and cause a lot of harm that can even lead to divorce and extreme violence. We need wisdom in marriage people of God. Although life seems to be hard, it is still good to allow wisdom to be our added advantage, there are doors that open by the ability to manifest wisdom.
“I also want to urge the church that we should grow in the wisdom of God, this wisdom comes by fearing him, honoring his word and principles hence we become masters of life. As we thrive for wisdom, let us also honor our bodies given by God. Solomon had built a physical temple and kingdom, Jesus Christ had to make our bodies a temple of the Holy Spirit and made everything needed for the service of God available,” he added.
Meanwhile sharing sentiments after the service, Sally Maputa said “The ministration by the man of God was so powerful and we will crossover by the name of Jesus Christ,” she said.
HESA is a Pentecostal movement that was founded in 2019 and believes in the word of God, Holy Spirit, water baptism and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
