In his anniversary message, the church’s President Apostle Dr. Joseph Guti vowed that the Ministry will march on, while urging the congregants to hold on to the church’s tradition and pattern.

“This Ministry will not come to an end. Anniversary means realignment and it acts as a reminder to all of us. The church will continue because it was laid upon a strong foundation, there is no other foundation church anyone can lay except one laid which is Jesus Christ, continue building on the foundation for us to be blessed.
“For we did not follow a mere teaching but a God inspired teaching through his servant that is why we are still witnessing miracles, signs and wonders. I want to encourage all of you according to 1 Corinthians 11:2 to remember all the teachings we received from our father Archbishop Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti which include prayer, fasting, tithing and working of talents,” said Guti.
Some of the members who shared their expressed their jubilation sentiments revealed that their lives were not only changed in the spiritual arena but also in physical sense. One of the members, Caroline Mhungu, who spoke to this publication during the anniversary march in Harare, applauded the church’s commitment to equip its members.
“As a woman for the past 15 years that I have been a member of ZAOGA,I was taught to work for my own, to provide for my children and send my children to school through the school of working talents. As a wife, I do not depend on my husband because I have been taught to be a productive and a helpful wife, “she said
Tinotenda Chauke expressed gratitude for the ZAOGA as a church that impart hard work, discipline and good social behavior
“As a youth we are being taught to be responsible as youths, to be obedient to both our parents and God, to work for God and what I love the most is the concept of getting married through a way called Masofa which is a formal and safe way for young people to get married. This method is there to protect the youths from fornication, sexual immorality, early marriages and to ensure that good marriages are built for this generation,” said Tinotenda.
The great international movement was founded by the late Faith Icon Archbishop Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti who died on 5 July 2023 at the age of 100 years and had been laid to rest at the “Miracle Mountain” in Bindura.
The Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa Forward in Faith Ministries International (ZAOGA FIFMI) has celebrated 64 good years of existence with vigorous advancement of kingdom of God which is attested by the opening of the church’s branches in more than 168 nations and states countrywide.
ZAOGA FIFMI is one of the biggest Pentecostal movements which has impacted millions of lives globally through economic empowerment programmes, life coaching, marriage counselling, youth programmes and prayer.

Started on 12 May 1960 in Bindura, the movement has so far among others build big educational and health institutions which include Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University and Mbuya Dorcas Hospital among others.
