Under the leadership of Captain S. Chipiro, the brigade members commenced their revival journey with an atmosphere charged with the Holy Spirit.
Early morning breakfast devotions set the tone for the day, nourishing souls and preparing hearts for divine guidance.
Major G Foroma led an enriching Bible study session, delving into the topic of understanding one’s position in Christ.
Emphasising the importance of standing firm in Christ, Major Foroma encouraged brigade members to embrace their identity and purpose in Him.
Throughout the program, representatives from various brigade units, including the songsters, band, and timbrels brigades, addressed the challenges and aspirations of their respective groups.
Chido Tsitsineni highlighted the need for unity within the musical brigades, while Reggis Mafunga shed light on the financial challenges faced by the band and appealed for support from the church leadership.
Mrs. Musona spoke on behalf of the timbrels brigades, addressing issues of shared vision and financial instability.
She proposed practical solutions to address these challenges, such as conducting practices in different regions to accommodate the diverse membership.
Lt. Colonel C. Chinyemba emphasised the importance of brigades in worship, urging members to deepen their knowledge of God’s word and lead others in joyful praise.
He underscored the role of every brigade member as a worship leader and shared insights on the characteristics of an effective worship leader.
In a powerful message during the Praise and Testimony Meeting, Lt. Colonel Patrick Sithole urged brigade members to pursue peace with the Lord and with one another.
He emphasised the transformative impact of cultivating personal and relational peace as a catalyst for revival.
The revival weekend culminated in the commissioning of new leaders and a stirring address by Assistant Chief Secretary Colonel Chitanda.
He encouraged the brigades to embrace obedience and boldly showcase God’s glory in their endeavours.
