Global revival conference, Catch the Fire Conference 2026, was officially launched in Harare on Friday, 12 June 2026, during an electric and jubilant event held at Heartfelt International Ministries’ International Overflow Centre.
The conference was launched by renowned revivalist and Heartfelt International Ministries founder, Apostle T Vutabwashe, who announced that this year’s theme will be “Heavenly Realities.”
“2026, we are going to see Heavenly Realities. It will not be an imagination, it will be an actuality,” Apostle T Vutabwashe said.
The launch event drew an atmosphere of excitement, celebration and anticipation, as congregants and visitors reflected on the remarkable journey of the Catch the Fire movement from humble beginnings to becoming one of Zimbabwe’s most recognised revival gatherings.
Recounting the early days, Apostle Vutabwashe reflected on how the first Catch the Fire Revival was held in a small classroom in Cold Comfort.
“It’s been a journey from inception of the first Catch the Fire Conference,” the apostle recollected.
“Our first advert was in the Herald, on the classifieds section where personal and funeral notices were placed. We couldn’t afford a full newspaper insert,” he said.
Over the years, Catch the Fire Conference has hosted several prominent men and women of God, including Pastor Robert Kayanja and Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.
“Catch the Fire Conference has hosted great servants of God, and we will see it again this year.”
Earlier this year, Apostle Vutabwashe shared the pulpit with Prophet Makandiwa and Bishop Colin Nyathi during an interdenominational conference, rekindling memories of the days when they held Catch the Fire revival meetings together.
In 2025, Apostle Vutabwashe hosted Pastor Benny Hinn for the Miracle Healing Crusade at the Miracle Grounds in Harare. The crusade later culminated in a nationwide 90-day fasting and prayer movement involving various denominations across Zimbabwe, dubbed “Revival Zimbabwe.”
For the past five years, Apostle Vutabwashe has consistently held revival services and preached daily without interruption, building a ministry widely associated with revival, prayer and unity across denominations.
Since the conclusion of the 90 days of prayer and fasting in January, the apostle has hosted several ministers, including Prophetess Matimbira, Evangelist Saungweme, Apostle B Java, Prophet Arthur Huggins, Evangelist Muparinga and many others.
This year’s Catch the Fire Conference is expected to be a significant spiritual gathering, with many anticipating another powerful move of revival and unity among churches and denominations.
The Catch the Fire Conference 2026 will be held from 24 to 30 August 2026 at Richland City in Mhondoro, approximately 100 kilometres from Harare.
With anticipation already building, many believers are expected to gather for what organisers say will be a week marked by worship, prayer, impartation and encounters centred on the theme, “Heavenly Realities.”
