On the eve of their 1st anniversary, Kingdom of Light Ministries Church, established on 30th April 2023 by Apostle Canaan Kwenje and Amai chaplain Kwenje, is set to celebrate a year of preaching the gospel at their church premises at ZRP camp Waterfalls on May 5th.

In an exclusive interview with Zimgospel Masters, Apostle Kwenje revealed that the ministry was initially intended to be established outside the camp, but miraculous testimonies and healings from the community led them to set up at the camp.
“We are happy to announce to the people of Zimbabwe that on the 5th of May, as Kingdom of Light, we are going to celebrate our 1st anniversary of preaching the gospel. I thank God for the grace and mercy He has shown to us. We wanted to establish the church outside the camp, but because of the testimonies we were receiving from various people, it gave us the confidence to establish a church there, where we have been warmly received.”
“ZRP was also attending our services and prayers, which gives us confidence, and my wife is also a chaplain there.”
The camp is also the site chosen for their upcoming anniversary celebration.
This upcoming anniversary celebration stands as a testament to the unwavering faith and resilience of Kingdom of Light Ministries Church. All members of the community are cordially invited to join in the festivities.
Apostle Kwenje expressed his gratitude for the support received, acknowledging the efforts of Pastor and Amai Munangatira, Deacon Nyagutu, and evangelists who have worked alongside them in evangelism and church planting.

Since its inception, the ministry has successfully established satellite locations in Stoneridge, Madziwa and Chitungwiza, with plans for further expansion through evangelism.
