Chimuka with The Heaven Strivers did not hesitate and procrastinate to test the waters as he immediately released his first album in 2009. Chimuka with such a great passion, his vision has always been to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through lyrical content, preaching peace and installing good morals into the societies.

Speaking about his journey,Chimuka said having the Catholic background helped him to become a versatile artist who can be able to compose content that caters for all while revealing that some of his projects have been inspired by real life situations.

“My music is therapeutic. As someone who grew up having a strong desire to be a musician, I am trying by all means to make sure that my music brings relief to those who will listen to it.

“Some of my songs offer spiritual guidance to us as Christians for example on a song titled “bvuma moyo” I was sharing a case whereby the desires of the heart are contrary to the desires of the spirit.

“Some of my songs are inspired by situations that we face everyday, so what I do is I get into the shoes of those who are in a situation, I try by all means to fully express their feelings and emotions through singing. As I do all this I try to also let the community accept and understand other people’s situations believing that it will help to bring emotional relief and healing to those who need it,” he said

Chimuka further revealed that musical journey has never been easy but it demands perseverance and determination.

“Speaking about the industry,it is not easy at all. When you go to the studio they do not consider that you are recording gospel music they need money so I just want to encourage my fellow upcoming artists to have some side hustles which may be the supporting pillar to the music side.Music takes determination and hardworking,” he added
