Pastor Gamaliel B. Madindi, the founder of the internationally accredited choir Joyful Praise and pastor of Joyful Praise City, has declared that gospel music is on the rise. This statement follows a successful event where Janet Manyowa performed at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) during a night of thanksgiving.
On his social media, Pastor Madindi shared
“Gospel music is about to dominate! The revival coming is unmatched.”
“Janet Manyowa at this ANOT was incredible! Everton Mlalazi and the Celestial Chorus were amazing too. Michael Mahendere, ZimPraise, and The Apostolic Gathering also delivered. The list goes on,” he said.
This year’s fifth edition featured well-known artists including Patience Masiyambiri, Takesure Zamar, Bridget Ndanga, Pastor Bonnie, Dr. Tumi, Everton Mlalazi, Lebo Sekgobela, Pastor Bonnie Deuschle, and Ellard and Sharon Cherayi.
Janet Manyowa expressed her hopes for the new year,
“My prayer for you in 2025 is that He fulfills His word in your life and that you see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”
Janet has gained recognition as a leading praise and worship artist through her dedication and talent.
Her popularity continues to grow, and she attracted a large audience at ANOT 2025, following the success of the 2024 edition, which also filled the HICC.
Attendees were impressed by the lighting, sound, and overall event experience, and part of the proceeds from the event were donated to charity.
