The Warriors and the Under-20 side, the Young Warriors, have arrived in Malawi for a four-nations tournament in Lilongwe this week, alongside hosts Malawi, Zambia, and Kenya.

Led by Norman Mapeza, the Warriors aim to leave a mark at the tournament as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
The squad, including local and foreign-based players, is set to showcase their talent during training sessions starting Tuesday.
The presence of nine players plying their trade in England adds depth to the squad, with notable names like Marley Tavaziva, Brendan Galloway, Tivonge Rushesha, Tawanda Chirewa, and Tawanda Masvanhise contributing to the team’s strength.
Meanwhile, the Under-20 team joins the senior team in the tournament, aiming to display their prowess on the international stage.

However, Dynamos striker Elton Chikona and Leon Daka of Herentals have been released from the Young Warriors squad due to breaches in team protocols, as announced by ZIFA.
