GOSPEL musician-cum-businessman, Mudiwa Hood, early this month said he was humbled after receiving an opportunity to speak to accomplished chief executive officers from different parts of the country who attended the Zimbabwe CEOs Network Leadership Conference in Victoria Falls.
“I was in Victoria Falls this past weekend speaking to CEOs from all parts of Zimbabwe at the Zimbabwe’s CEOs Network Leadership Conference,” Hood said. “Most of the CEOs presents are running multi-million dollar companies in Zimbabwe and abroad.”
Mudiwa – who runs a security business – described the experience as humbling, especially after receiving a standing ovation for his speech. “After my speech, I was so humbled by an outstanding round of applause in appreciation of the few nuggets shared.
We exchanged contacts and potentially locked six home security contracts,” he said. “Many of them met and saw the other side of Mudiwa Hood that you can only experience if you attend any of my events. I am not apologetic of who I have become.
I am a hard worker and results are inevitable.” Meanwhile, Hood said he was currently in the process of synthesizing his new book titled Overcoming Social Media Hate, in which he encourages people to focus more on overcoming negative criticism on social media and offers key ingredients on improving one’s personal life.
“You are a product of a serious of decisions you have made over time. If you listen to what every other person is saying about you and get affected, you delay the millionaire in you to manifest. Make money. Jesus said I am the way, so he will make a way,” he said.
Last month, Hood held a public lecture at Harare Institute of Technology in Belvedere were over 500 students registered for the Billionaire Academy Club and this will accommodate students from various tertiary institutions in Zimbabwe with the aim of equipping them with life skills.
